WHAT IS COVID LONG HAULERS?

The Covid 19 Pandemic has resulted in a growing number of people experiencing long term physical and mental effects after the initial onset of the virus subsides. The CDC has determined that health problems lasting 4+ weeks after getting infected refer to what they’ve named “Covid Long Haulers”. The CDC also lists additional terms such as “Long Covid” and “Post Covid Conditions”.Covid Long Hauler symptoms can include the same symptoms as associated with the virus and/or new symptoms. Some of the most common persistent symptoms are: fatigue, shortness of breath, chest pain or tightness, cough, sleep disturbances, PTSD, anxiety, dizziness, etc.
